Just got back from a three night stay on the grass pitches and we had a lovely time. The pitches are nice and large so we had plenty of space to pitch our tent and have an area to put our windbreakers up on the side. The toilets and showers were kept nice and clean as well as the kitchen area. The site is nice and quiet bar the donkeys and chickens! but we loved having the animals there. The staff were great and can be found when needed. The fishing was good but didn’t seem to see any fish larger than 12/13lb. You are also locked in as the site has a locked gate which code changes regularly to give you piece of mind. The kitchen area has a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a microwave and a kettle which was a pleasant surprise. There are also a selection of local attraction and takeaway leaflets to read. At the back of the lake there is a field which we let the dog have a run on although it is not fully enclosed it certainly was more than enough. We will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely relaxed campsite. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Nice size pitches for our tents. Donkeys, llamas, sheep, goats and chickens right opposite for you to stroke and feed. Toilets and shower room very clean. Lovely hot showers. Lovely clean …
