I trained here for nearly a year and honestly wouldn’t recommend it. The gym feels dark and cramped, and most of the equipment was poorly maintained during my time there (see photos). There’s no air conditioning downstairs just a large fan, which they’ve recently started switching off, leaving everyone overheating. The fan itself looks unhygienic and could really use a clean. Like many other reviews have said, the music is way too loud, and the management doesn’t seem to take customer feedback seriously. There’s only one communal changing room, and it’s not clear whether it’s meant for men or women, which makes things uncomfortable. Despite the “world-class” claim, it’s really just a budget gym with machines crammed together. There are definitely better options for the same price or less.

Incredible gym, by far the best gym in Notts/Derby area. The equipment is fantastic. As a smaller human, I often struggle with generic machines, but the equipment here is adjustable and suitable even for petite people. It's clean and spacious. The equipment is divided into areas, lots of variations of things to try, great for training compounds and accessories, plenty of weights, racks and machines. Functional area and boxing area upstairs. Lovely changing rooms, friendly staff, variety of shakes and snacks, music isn't too loud, free parking. (£25 pm for NHS staff! It's a steal!) (Day pass used to be £5 but now £7 but it's such great value for money). All round, good vibes.
