After 2 years I’ve cancelled my son’s membership. The classes are often 8 or 9 per class. I’ve often seen my child not swim more than a couple of times during a half hour session because they are so busy. The changing rooms are filthy, the showers are all cold except 1. I don’t know how they get away with it in all honesty. I should have cancelled a long time ago. On the other hand, the gym is nice and the soft play is good for kids. But my review is based on the almost £11 per 30 mins swimming lesson, which, in real terms, is about 5-8 mins of actual swimming.

Every time I or my family try to call Parklands Leisure Centre, nobody answers the phone. It either rings non stop or cuts off. When you walk in, you see staff at reception and some on their phones, so why are customer calls ignored. If they don’t want to answer phones, they should remove that service and use live chat or WhatsApp instead. For a place that makes so much money from memberships, activities and parking, the customer service is shocking. Toilets and changing rooms have been complained about before for being dirty and nothing has changed. Management clearly isn’t paying attention. Someone from the staff should try calling themselves and see what customers go through. Really disappointing experience.
