Just stayed here for 3 nights. Slight problem on arrival as we couldn't fit onto the allocated pitch but this was sorted straight away with no fuss at all. Our pitch was really well kept as was the rest of the campsite. Lovely areas separated by hedges and trees. The toilets and showers were clean and spacious as was the pot washing area. We walked to the local pub (The Gate) which is as other people have said about a 20-30 min walk down a long hill. Well worth a visit for the food, also a playground if you have kids. People have said they ordered taxis to get back to the farm but the walk back really isn't that bad. We also walked into Matlock which takes you through woods and past Lumsdale waterfall. The walk took about 45 mins and again was worth it. All in all this is a great little campsite with very nice owners.

We stayed two nights at this campsite which has excellent facilities; good sized pitches, clean toilet block with easy to use showers and instant hot water. Our sleep on the first night was disturbed by noisy neighbours who partied until …
