Metheringham Outdoor Swimming Pool - Lido Pool

Ah, Meg pool, what a little beauty. The pool was heated to around 29° when we visited for an early morning lane swim. It's a small pool at 15m, but deep enough to plough the lengths. Free parking is available and you need to book in advance online (which is really not a user-friendly experience). Small male and female changing rooms available with a toilet, but no showers or lockers. The pool was immaculately clean, and the poolside facilities (including table football) were well maintained. A jolly and welcoming pool 😊

Will start with the temporary negative-no shower to wash out chlorine on skin & hair when travelling back home. But... It is so beautiful & like a secret pool. Booking is quite a technical battle, but when advised to do on laptop, instead of phone made it much easier. Due to tech' issues I got very confused and turned up for wrong session. However, staff were soo helpful & arranged a transfer, just like that. Kids will be amazed at the sweety shop(tuck shop) Very traditional, colourful & impressive! Look firwardvto attending very soon & all different sessions ie booking a private family party, doing a moon swim & the cold water experience.
