Holiday Inn Express Lincoln City Centre by IHG

This is the best holiday Inn Ive been booked for a 1 or 2 days stay. We stayed at room 603. The room is super clean. The beddings linen is a super high quality. Fresh and clean towels. tap sink washed and polished, glass door bathroom super shine and clean. water shower is perfect. soap and shampoo is provided with all time favourite brand since 1980. Iron and board, hair dryer, coffee and tea for all you need is provided. Manager Robin was exceptional telling us all info we need to know for breakfast, parking etc. Housekeepers thank you. Without you... Hotel is not a hotel. The location is exceptional.

Stayed in many Holiday Inn hotels. This one is standard on first appearance however the room I had was facing a huge busy network of roads, the traffic was so loud and meant I had a disturbed sleep. The bed was tiny for a double, lumpy and uncomfortable which also contributed to a poor night's sleep. The worst of all was the sink in my room 304, It stunk of sewage. I should imagine it was because the drains needed cleaning, but it put me off using the sink, especially brushing my teeth felt like a risk. The shower head was also grimy and orange, I felt grubby using it and showered again when I got home. All in all not worth staying again as these things should be kept clean as a minimum standard. I did tell the staff on check out, they just said, 'Thanks for letting me know' Once they've got your money they don't really care I suppose!
