Paid astronomical prices for years to attend these poorly maintained, often unclean facilities. Got emails every few weeks informing of pool closures while I was paying more than local luxury private gyms charge. Kept on coughing up because it was a 5 minute walk away from my home. Recently moved & was thrilled to cancel my membership.

I came here from Canada and honestly, I was really disappointed with this gym. The equipment is very limited — for example, there’s only one bench press bar, so it’s quite possible you come in and can’t even do your main workout because it’s always in use. The membership price is similar to other gyms like PureGym, but PureGym has several times more equipment and you don’t need to wait in line or change your plan. They also have strange rules. I usually train with my friend and sometimes we do a video call while working out, just to check each other’s form. Here, you’re not allowed to make a video call at all (even if there’s no one else on your screen). I emailed the university and even they couldn’t explain why, just said it’s the “policy.” Hygiene is another issue. They put wipes to clean the equipment, but honestly, I felt like only me and one other person ever used them. There’s also a sign that says no outdoor shoes in the stretching area, but everyone walks straight in with the same shoes they wear outside — so the mats are actually quite dirty. There’s hardly any space for stretching, and the ventilation is really poor. On hot days, it feels like you’re being cooked inside. Overall, not worth the money compared to other gyms in the city.
