I stayed at The Code Classics, Flat 3, 18 Lancaster Road, and if you’re considering this specific accommodation, it will be one of the worst decisions you can make. The insulation is awful. The flat is always cold no matter how long you leave the heating on. When I arrived, the condition of the place was shocking: unfinished cupboards that still haven’t been fixed, a towel heater so dirty you wouldn’t put anything near it, structural damage to the roof, and many more issues that made it clear the room had not been properly prepared or maintained. If you’re thinking of booking this place, save yourself the stress and don’t do it. There are plenty of better options in Leicester, and the cheap price is misleading because the electricity bills make it cost just as much as any other accommodation.
