ADS Truck Parking

First time stopping here last night. I have to say that early indications are really good. Was met at the gate to be shown my parking spot and was guided in. Then asked if it my first time here. I was then given a full explanation of every facility available to me which includes showers, large and spacious even for bigger guys like myself, scoff room where later on I had a very good carvery, laundry facilities and also a great little idea that is a unit where in the mornings you can make yourself a coffee and some toast. All provided by ADS. Staff couldn’t do enough for me. Seems extremely secure as gates locked at night and constant security patrols. All in all an extremely decent place as far as I’m concerned. Loved the unlimited coffee or tea deal that they do. No brainer for me. Will definitely be making it one of my go to places.

Parked here at 11pm last night, gates locked but security let us in. Nice and quiet, facilities very good and clean. Even though we were parked up away from all other vehicles we weren’t allowed to have our fridge running. This will be a deciding factor as to weather we use this facility in the future as we carry temperature sensitive goods. Cafe still not open at 8am which was also a little disappointing. The showers kept running hot and then cold when someone flushed a nearby loo. Also they desperately need extractor fans in them as they end up soaked and the room is very cold. We were promised tea and toast in the morning but couldn’t see anywhere to get it as cafe is closed.
