Pros - An intimate place to go camping to; there are five camp sites and one bathroom (no shower). - Each camp site’s got a fire pit for bonfire. - It’s gated and closes at 5pm but you’ll receive a code for the gate through email if you book it online. - It’s very close to the city/surrounding suburbs yet not too close as it still feels very nature-y. - There are heaps of places to visit around the area. Cons - They lock two gates at night, one of which cannot be unlocked by campers, which means when you need to leave at night (eg. emergency), you can’t. But on the bright side, you could think of it as additional security 🤷‍♀️ - You cannot get a hold of staff after 5pm on weekdays and not at all on weekends for queries/assistance.

Lovely experience, near by the city with a good camping site demarcation. Lots of space between sites. Every camp spot has a table and a firepit. Drop toilet, no shower. Syd's rapid is a nice spot for a walk. The only problem is that the gate requires a code for access but it's only provide it by phone during office hours, and I did my booking on a Saturday. Lucky I saw a volunteer after few hours I was on the park. Would definitely recommend.
