The African Reef

We stayed 2 nights.. The room , while big , had no table. No face washers, hand towel or soap for the bathroom vanity . It was the middle of winter and had no spare blankets which necessitated the A/c needing to be left on all night. There were no extra pillows . The room was not serviced during our stay. It would have been good if the towels were replaced daily.. We had to ask staff for milk and tea bags, which had been forgotten when preparing our room. The only iron was in the laundry room in a separate block . The attached restaurant/bar was under renovation during our stay , it would have been helpful if this was disclosed at the time of booking. No covered parking . Quiet. Great views For over $200 per night it should have been better.

Not sure I will ever recommend or stay here again. Dirty linen, stained couch and dirty towels. Room with a view of the ocean ended up being from the carpark. Lights shining through the kitchen window all night was very annoying. No opportunity to watch apps in the tv as room 25 was still not upgraded with new tv. The place is old and run down and a bit of a disappointment 😞
