0 STAR RATING State Swim Osborne Park Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful BEHAVIOUR by Staff Member ALISTAIR!!!!! As a Parent with young children I witnessed a deeply upsetting incident yesterday at your Osborne Park complex involving a male staff member. I believe his name is ALISTAIR as listed on the supervisor board. He spoke to a female colleague in an absolute appalling, aggressive, condescending tone in front of young children and their families. It was completely unprofessional and unacceptable especially considering she did nothing to deserve this treatment. The female staff member handled herself with remarkable professionalism and stayed very calm especially given the way she was being yelled at. I’ve seen her teach many times and genuinely believe she is one of your best swimming instructors. To make matters worse I had been watching this staff member ALISTAIR standing around just chatting. Clearly not supervising the children. A huge safety concern!!!! ALISTAIR has NO accountability or integrity. I wanted to report him but I was so angry and upset by what I had just witnessed. He was completely at fault without a doubt. As a paying customer it was extremely disappointing to see such disgusting behaviour being displayed. If this staff member continues to represent State Swim I will take it as a sign that this kind of behaviour is acceptable and I will be taking my children elsewhere. I hope you address this matter urgently. THIS SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED especially where your staff are working closely with our children. This staff member needs to go or clearly your reputation will!!!! DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR ALISTAIR!!!!

Our go to swimming hole for the kids lessons. Friendly staff, good instructors, good facilities. Heated pool and swimming area makes for toasty winters and cooking hot summers... Also ice candy treats for kids after swimming. Star off for tight changerooms that can get over crowded at times and basement parking which can also be a squeeze to get in/out of at peak timez
