Friendly and helpful to those in need. Free breakfast 7.30 - 8.30, with tea and coffee. Live music and anyone can sing along 2 mornins a week. Hot lunch $2.00 @ 11.30. Free showers, towels,shampoo, underwear, socks provided. Free hairdresser once/ fortnight. Nurse on premises every day. Medical, Dental, Physio , Chiropractor also Counseling, and financial services .Food hampers for people in real need. Also free bread, fruit, vegies, tinned food as donated. Emergency accommodation. And more. Not government funded I don't think but funded by donations

The Community Centre is litetally the social, medical, legal and relief centre of Fremantle's battler community who were recently praised by the former head of the Reserve Bank of Australia for just being The Structurally Poor our economy depend upon to be (ummm) poor. Run by The Order of St Patrick the centre caters to any one with a healthcare card. They can help with food, crisis accommodation, medical the list goes on. There's free breakfast and lunch at the centre there's showers and a mobile laundrette two mornings a week. There's also the street doctor. The staff are fantastic. Come in any time between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm and see for yourself.
