I did promise the owners I would post a 5 star review once I was officially recognised as a member of Manning which finally happened yesterday. I originally joined North Perth as my roommate had been going there for over a year by that point however as I did not really enjoy the North Perth franchise and we both live in Cannington so I decided to go to Manning instead as it's only a short 10 minute drive away. Fun fact, I used to live in Manning over a decade ago for a couple of years and back then Plus Fitness never used to be there. All there was IGA and that pharmacy next to it. Since returning for the first time in a decade, I've noticed the gym has transformed the area into a community hub. The gym itself is very clean and modern. When I joined, it looked to be in a state of disarray with old equipment and perienally empty vending machines but ever since the new owners took over the whole place has transformed. Wayne has put so much effort into upgrading the whole place since taking over including a state of the art motion detection water fountain, brand new Technogym equipment and even little formal touches like a Dyson hairdryer in the showers. Sabrina is a wonderful manager. Warm, friendly and welcoming towards all members. My favorite thing about this place is the non-judgemental vibe you get from everyone there. At no point have I ever felt uncomfortable about being judged by my peers whenever I'm here. There's another girl whose name I don't know I've seen in the office before the new owners took over and she was also extremely helpful. I've been to a few Plus Fitness franchises so far like North Perth (obviously), Mount Lawley and Wembley but I am yet to come across one as good as this.
