Discovery Parks - Woodman Point

We stayed last night for 1 night at the end of our 2 week WA family holiday and tbh I'm glad it was only one night. Out of all the caravan parks we've stayed at this was the most expensive but nowhere near as good of amenities/things to offer. The pool says closed after dark which is fair however we walked over at 5.30pm still daylight and the pools locked, the games room has a pool table & ping-pong table but you haveto get the stuff from reception which once again closes at 5pm, the playground has no seating for adults around, the swings and flying fox has been taken out aswell. In a toilet block there's only 3 toilets which everytime I went was either out of toilet paper or the paper was stuck- hubby said had great shower pressure tho. Camp kitchen is very small in comparison. Also being woken up at 7am in the morning to a tree chipper is a great way to start the day- NOT.

We have stayed at and returned to Woodman Point on a number of occasions.The park is lovely with great access to walking paths and the beach. My partner became ill whilst on our first stay and the staff were exceptionally understanding and helpful in allowing an extension to our stay due to extenuating circumstances. The amenities are clean with hot showers. At present there is a lot of activity with improvements everywhere. We look forward to returning, seeing the team again and enjoying our stay.
