It's a pretty nice campsite with pit toilets and fun showers where you have to bring your own water. The children's playground is great. However, we decided to stay a few hundred meters away from the others near Oakabella Creek behind the dunes — for free. Track is a bit narrow and sandy but with a camper trailer and reduced tyres no dramas.

Coronation Beach Campground offers beautiful beachside camping at a very reasonable $20 per vehicle per night. The pay station is contactless card payment only but is very easy to use, bear in mind that all pitches are on a first come first served basis and can only be bought on a daily basis. The campground has basic facilities; long drop toilets and BYO water showers. There is no water on site so you must bring your own. A dump spot is available and located in the car park. The lack of facilities is more than made up for by the sunsets; there are two lookout points with elevated platforms to give you great views anytime of the day.
