Definitely one of the better public pools in Perth. Good separate kids pool to under covered lap pool and even has extra covered areas for BBQs an external basketball court. Saw a party once with a spectacular fun float as well. Has swimming lessons for all ages. Love the place.

We usually have a great experience at BP. Yesterday we went for a swim as part of an injury recovery program. The undercover pool was freezing. I asked the attendant why there was no heating and he said the hydropump had been fixed and the water wouldn't be heated until the 6th of October. I noticed a sign about the lack of heated water in the ladies change room as I was shivering out of wet bathers. Why was there no signage before I paid and entered the swimming area? I wouldn't have used the pool if I knew the heating wasn't working. There are other pools I could have attended. The whole thing was very disappointing. I barely managed 15 minutes in the cold water. Come on BP, do better by your regulars.
