As at January 2026, the ocean has washed away quite a lot of the shoreline. Thus showers/toilets are gone, picnic area is limited. Still a nice place to swim on a hot day.

Car park at Bob Davies park near Point Moore lighthouse with 6 spaces for overnight parking. Must be self-contained. No caravans or ground tents allowed, Time and Cost: 24 hours, Free. Access: Sealed road to sealed car park. Facilities: Small, partly shaded sealed camping area with room for 6 vehicles. Toilets, shower, bins, BBQ and seats available. Excellent Optus, Telstra and TV reception. Ambiance: Beachside location, minimal road noise, can be windy. Suited as an overnight stopover for self-contained vehicles. Short drive (2km) into Geraldton for shopping, fuel, water and dump point.
