Woodmanshill Motel & Caravan Park

We were looking for a cheap unpowered site for 1 night. For $41 with power and water (not that we used either) it could have been better. We don't know the situation of the owners but they seemed to have relaxed on maintaining the caravan park. By allowing the weeds to take over, grass to grow wild and general untidiness it doesnt reflct the advertising pictures. We felt the ablution setup was poor, as there was only 4 toilets and 2 showers for the 30 sites. Most of which appeared to be permanents, which I don't have a problem with. If the owners are struggling then can't the residents pitch in and help??? Anyway, I would leave it to others to decide whether they feel it's worthy of a longer stay, if we were to return it would only be for 1 night again.

After paying $165 for the night it would have been nice to have had a clean room my son choked on a bead from what appeared to be a broken child's bracelet. He also on his crawling journey found multiple socks and a dummy that wasn't his indicating room wasnt cleaned properly. We had no hot water so were unable to even have a shower. The bed was comfy but other than that it overall wasn't a great experience or a child friendly room. When I rang them to make them aware all I got was thanks for letting us know.. no sorry or could we help out with a partial refund for the inconvenience. $165 was way to expensive to not even be able to shower.
