Sundowner Caravan & Cabin Park

We stayed here with our slide on camper. It's not a tourist park, it's somewhere safe to sleep and have base camp. It has very clean toilet/shower facilities. Dump point. Owners are very helpful and accommodating. Has shops within walking distance. Close to buses and trains for a trip to the city. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Sundowner Caravan Park for four nights with our motorhome in the middle of the last summer vacations. We were pleasantly surprised that there was room, as the other campsites were almost all full. Léon's welcome was perfect, even letting us choose our pitch and layout. It's a campsite mainly made up of bungalows and permanent residents. It's a long way from Melbourne city center, but there are many ways to get there (bus + train) in 1 hour. The campsite is very well maintained, the sanitary facilities are very clean and, above all, it's really cheap: $34 a night for 2A and 2C, 8-meter motorhome, power/water! There's also a laundry ($4 wash/$4 dry). Frankly, it's a great deal!
