There's a lot of year-round parking, clean indoor male and female change rooms, showers and toilets; outdoor shower; grassy area; the red and yellow flags designate the safest swim area and life guards patrol in summer over the weekends and weekdays on the school holidays. (Don't swim there if there are no life guards or flags.) It's a beautiful, clean beach with sand that can get quite compacted after a high tide, and deceptively safe due to there being shallow water for quite a distance.
