Honey Hush Caravan Park

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights. Initially only booked for one as we saw a lot of bad reviews. Honestly no idea what they were all talking about. The permanent residents are lovely. The campsite itself is nice and quiet. Super clean toilets/showers and the best hot showers we’ve had. (Travelled from cairns to Melbourne). The caretakers made us feel really welcome. Price is great for $15 per person per night. Great laundry facilities and camp kitchen too! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Melbourne, it’s only a 40 minute drive in and you can find parking for $17 a day in melbs.

This review concers the unpowered site for vans and the tent site. The prices are very low, 15$ per person per night. With this prices you can't complain. Of course it isn't the most luxurious caravan park ever but it does its little job. The uncovered site are just a little parking next to a strip of grass where you can put your tent and they ar enext to the bathroom (amazing). The bathrooms per se are clean and well maintained, they do miss soap. The laundry is clean and works well. There isn't a camp kitchen. The area is just an industrial area close to the airport but given that is next to the freeway in just 20 minutes you are un the city center with your little van. It's cheaper to drive and to use a paying parking lot than using public transport over there, the Mickey Mouse card in Melbourne is just an abomination. The staff are extremely nice all around. Overall I suggest it if you just need a place to sleep and you want to spend your days in the city, it's cheap and maintained good.
