On a nice day, the beach and pool are amazing. There is a pool section for the kids and there is an enclosed beach area as. This area has a bit of seaweed floating around but not bad enough to stop people from swimming. The water looked good over the Melbourne Cup weekend. There are showers, a restaurant and bbq areas on the lawns nearby if you don't like sitting on the sand. Parking is a bit of a challenge but if you are patient enough you will find one. The ferrous wheel was fun too. Awesome views from the top.

OMG. The Geelong waterfront beats every waterfront in Melbourne. The vibe is so fresh, lively and serene. Loved the jetty and esp the kids pool, leading into adults lap swimming n then straight into ocean. The views from atop and the star are breathtaking. Its a must place to visit and spend a quality family day or a romantic date at. Refreshed my mood and reenergised me. Ahhh! We're returning here again soon. :)
