Corio Bay Motel

Very near to spirit of Tasmania terminal which was great, sadly that's about the only good point apart from the good customer service. The biggest let down are the actual rooms, they resemble the dark dinghy room from a horror movie, stained carpet, mould in the bathroom on ceiling and shower bay, paint falling off surfaces mirror absolutely filthy and in a room for 2 there was 1 fork and 1 knife to eat with, the pictures will explain some of it. Owners need to advertise what the room actually look like not what the Web shows, so please before committing to a stay see the attached pictures Sorry but I need to be honest.....

I have multiple photos of the filth we walked in on. Firstly I paid for a queen room only to be given a double without them acknowledging their screw up and just told me to get ahold of Agoda which Agoda has tried calling numerous times with no response. Carpets are stained so badly and filthy! Food on the floors, toilet wasn't flushed so yellow with toilet paper floating round. Black mould on the shower curtains Stains all up the sides of the bed. Food stains up the walls. No tv remote Heater is super loud No kettle in the room yet there's mugs/coffee/sugar provided and even says a kettle is included in the room. Under the toilet is wood missing where there is rotting boards and fecal matters/wads of toilet paper stuffed in there. Shower leaks Reception woman laughed at me and tried to tell me a double bed is bigger then the queen bed! Very appalled of this place, no matter how cheap the price, no place should be this filthy! Hoping to take this further as when you look at the photos you definitely don't get that! All in it for the money but clearly don't care about keeping customers happy.
