Great little camp-site with a short walk to the beach. Facilities are limited and are getting old, but the staff do well to keep them clean. The big bins are emptied on Tuesdays and can get very full during peak times. Sites vary in size and the access roads can be tight. Some water taps on the map don't exist. Edit: they have added a dump point near the toilet block and an outdoor shower on the beach access path. Toilets are closed for cleaning between 9:30 - 10:30am and 2:30 - 3:30pm.

We just went last weekend for a long weekend of camping. First day and night was amazing. Close to the beach, good site, good cafe near by, good showers... Second night the smell of sulphur (rotten egg gas) coming from the Merricks creek running along side totally ruined everything. This happened just as we were about to make dinner. Smell went all night and into the next day making breathing it in very uncomfortable. Southerly picked up and blew the smell north. If they resolve the issue I will go back but the rotten egg gas smell is severe so take note. Worst thing is, I googled and there is reports of this issue since 2015 and if I had known I would not of gone.
