Ballarat Wellness Centre and Salt Rooms

I rang Ballarat Wellness Centre after a friend highly recommended them to me on the 1st November, last Saturday. Ray (owner) answered my call. I told him I was a carer utterly exhausted and burnt out what do you suggest. He recommended a salt bath. There are various options- massage, two types of saunas and a salt bath. I had the salt bath recommended by Ray. There was salt on the floor of inflorescent red light, a box of tissues and a relaxing wellness light. There was soft music. Nothing said on way in nothing to do but relax or face the ‘demons’ in you. I slowly began with a mindful relaxation and felt salt in my skin but it was healing my spirit. Washing away negative thoughts, anger, annoyances with family. Etc. in the end I pictured all who were causing me pain and not helping me in my role as carer. I gently, peacefully it imagined what I would like to say to them and I was no longer hurt or angry or whatever. The salt bath had healed me - body, mind and spirit. A big thank you to Ray and the staff and I highly recommend it.
