Ascot Vale Leisure Centre

Have noticed that lots of people start swimming classes for their kids here & then move elsewhere. The instructors are great, but the classes have too many kids (this morning our son’s class had 9! Children participating in one half hour class), feels like a bit of a money grab. The staff that work in the centre are mainly kids & don’t really have answers to a lot of questions & in our personal experience made mistakes & left us to deal with the consequences of that. We tried to book private lessons but the centre never responded so we have moved elsewhere. A shame as this has always been my local go to since I was a child

Came today for my swim teaching class with LSV in the morning at 10am. Shout out to the girl at the front office today (who I regretly didn’t ask for her name) she helped me above and beyond with my tiny incident. If all the swimming staff has an empathetic helpful attitude towards others just like her. Leisure centres will have such positive impacts bringing the community together. Thank you so much!
