Valley Campground

Great little park perfect for exploring the area. (Cockle Creek, Huonville, Kunanyi / Mt Wellington, Hobart multiple times.) Very quiet and some huge sites (2 vans on our site, with room), there were lovely little markets on site whilst we were here, solar showers were refreshing! Very clean toilets. Wood and small pantry to buy from. Sally was very friendly and helpful when we changed our plans last minute (and after that!), thanks very much. Will definitely be back

The best campground I've visited. Beautiful enviornment. You can hear the river. Large and private sites. Powered sites available, but I stayed in an unpowered site (unpowred sites are at the end of the campground where it is extra quiet and peaceful). Composting toilet is very clean (no smell) and plenty of toilet paper and soap to wash hands. Showers are solar powered. So as long as you don't mind having a cold shower if there is no sun. It's quiet. The other guest are respectful and the hosts welcoming and helpful. I would have stayed longer if I could have. There is mobile coverage which is a bonus if you don't have Starlink. Local wildlife comes out to visit at dusk and dawn which is an extra treat.
