Mountain View Motel Queenstown

This motel was a mixed experience for us. One of the rooms had a proper kitchen bench with a sink, but the second room had no kitchen bench and no sink, which was very inconvenient. One of the bathrooms also had no hot water in the sink, which really shouldn’t happen in this price range. On the positive side, they did provide basic amenities like toothbrushes and shaving razors, which was appreciated. Overall, for the price we paid, the facilities felt inconsistent and below expectations.

Service was good and answered on Christmas Day. Rooms smells pretty bad to the point my friend was getting hayfever constantly until we left. Kitchen smelled like mould, there were insect eggs all around the bin, stoves didn’t work, microwaved was good. Shower was terrible, it flooded the whole toilet area due to leaking shower head. One of the shower head only had 3 streams and wasn’t pleasant as it it would hurt because of the pressure. Can’t say I recommend. Pay extra elsewhere…
