This accommodation was for a work trip so I wasn't here long or for a getaway. I would say the location is central which is handy, the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant didn't have the biggest menu and was quite expensive. Example, $12 for a bottle of sparkling water and $50 for a dozen oysters. The rooms are on the smaller side with not much moving around room. The second double bed seems like a waste. The shower is also packed in a corner with the shower head opposite the door and above the tap handle, meaning you would open the door, reach in and turn on the shower and then get sprayed in the face, as water blasts out into the bathroom space. The water would also go from set temperature to boiling hot to freezing cold (must have been affected by others showering at the same time). The wifi kept dropping out which also affected the Foxtel on the tv (would have been a good option to the the ability for streaming services). Coming back to the room from a long day of work, it would have been nice to be able to have a decent shower, sit, watch tv and scroll. Also whilst there were mugs in the room, it would have been great to have some bowls. The laundry service advertised was a coin washing machine and dryer (having more then one machine and the ability to pay by card would have been a great option). It was ok, I just wouldn't recommend the commodore to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable option on their travels, maybe a stay where you don't intend to spend too much time at the accommodation.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. The room was clean and big. Parking was directly in front of the room. Amenities in the bathroom was great. Beds were comfortable for the family. There is a McDonald’s with playgrounds across the street. Perfect for families with kids.
