Fleurieu Aquatic Centre - YMCA is an amazing centre for everyone with staff being inclusive for all individuals who use the centres facilities including my large family. We genuinely enjoy our time here and have had such a great team who have supported us all, from my own personal experience using the gym and gym trainers to get to my goals while also being a tremendous support in kids club watching my children with care that makes us feel like we have come to our second family. We also have had such a wonderful experience with swimming lessons and continue to with our journey in being safe swimmers. I couldn’t recommend a more welcoming and enjoyable centre. Thank you to the staff you make this place the way it is.

Horrendous in almost every possible way. Firstly the current renovation....the info on the website contradicts itself, is lacking in firm information about re-opening. Call up and ask about it and you get a really nasty woman who talks over you, interrupts to shut you down to tell you nothing. The lockers which you pay for rarely work and this has been going on for years....why don't you fix them instead of expecting people to traipse back to reception to try another key???? The music played during water exercise classes in the main 25m pool is horrendously load...why should the other fee paying swimmers have to suffer it...put your head under water and you can still hear it. This is auditory abuse. It's almost certainly way above safe sound levels for a public space. If you don't fix it by next time I visit, I am sure I can arrange for Safework SA to visit and measure the sound level.....just try me. Management are not treating people fairly by allowing this...and it's also been going on for years. Never ever encountered this in any other indoor pool anywhere else, so why the hell is this acceptable here? All in all the ratepayers of the region are not being treated properly by the terrible management of this pool. A place which cost a fortune to build and no doubt run, which could be fantastic but the incredibly poor management obviously hasn't changed or improved since opening. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. GET THE BLOODY TILES STUCK TO THE 25M POOL WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY AND FIRE YOUR MANAGERS.
