World Gym Cairns

Just signed up at the gym and I’m really disappointed. People using the machines spend most of their time on their phones while others, like me, wait more than 20 minutes to use them very frustrating. There is no Wi-Fi, no visible lockers in the gym area, and the water from the cooler is warm. Me and my partner also asked if we could use the same account and card to save on the admin fee, but the girl at the reception said it’s not possible which doesn’t make any sense. The extra $60 admin fee feels way too expensive.

First of all, I just want to say this is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to — if not the best. The environment is great, and I really don’t see myself switching gyms anytime soon. I’m very happy here! I just wanted to raise one small point as a constructive suggestion. I’ve noticed that some members tend to place multiple towels on different machines at once to “reserve” them. I understand everyone has limited time to train and wants to make the most of it, but this practice can make it difficult for other members, especially those who don’t feel comfortable asking to jump in or take turns. If possible, I’d like to kindly ask if the gym could address this with members so that everyone can enjoy the space more fairly. Of course, if this towel-reserving practice is officially allowed by the gym, no worries at all — I’ll simply try to adapt as best I can. Thanks so much for your attention and support!
