Tugun Surf Life Saving Club

On this section of the coast you are spoilt for choice when looking for somewhere convivial. Had never tried Tugan Surf club before, and as we have many visitors we decided to give this venue a go for future reference. Location, superb, amenities and decor OK. It was lunch, and there were only 3 other tables occupied when we arrived. Ordered meal, bought drinks and enjoyed the view. After approx 35minutes and watching later arrivals receive their order's, a polite request was made as to where in the cue were we. Meal turned up 5 minutes later which to say the least, was average, however you don't expect cordon bleu for $22.50 small plate. On our way out met the manager and expressed our disappointment about our experience in his club, which he swatted off with an off the cuff remark. I think we'll stick to some tastier options, one of which is about 2km north.
