I arrived today, and from the very first moment I felt disappointed and poorly treated. When I tried to check in, I was told that I had to download their app, even though I did not want to share my personal data. When I asked for a normal key card instead, the staff told me that if I didn’t want to use the app, I could leave and find another place. The attitude was rude and unhelpful. I had also informed them in advance about which bed and which area I preferred, but when I arrived the staff simply said that I had to take the bed they assigned me. This felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. I also find it strange that you have to pay an extra 10 AUD for a towel. That should be included when you pay for accommodation. The room I received is not quiet, and the bed is uncomfortable. I will be staying here for two days, but my experience from the beginning has been very negative. The only positive thing is that the pool looks nice, but unfortunately that is not enough to make up for the rest.
