Stayed in cabin 52 for 7 days - visiting my son & young granddaugters. The cabin was clean & tidy. The bed was comfortable. I found it great having a washing machine to use in the cabin (that was a bonus) I found the long lost remote control cover for the kitchen light/fan when I moved the lounge to sweep the floor. The only gripe I have is that the air conditioning is inadequate for hot weather, the cabin is blasted by the full sun for most of the day. I had to hang two towels in the kitchen window to try & stop some of the heat from coming in. Luckily I was able to borrow a pedestal fan from my son to place in the doorway from the bedroom (where the air conditioner is located) blowing cool air into the living area to help alleviate the heat. It only just made the living area bearable on hot days.

They don't usually encourage or advertise for tourist blowins but have nearly all long time permanent residents. They don't have a web presence, street signage is non existent, permanent accommodation looks like it should be knocked down! (Or they look like they are in the process of...!) They are just not set up for tourist visits and have no need to provide other than very basic facilities. You can tell it by the way they answer the phone...very rundown and disappointing shower and toilet facilities - my wife was traumatised by the lack of cleanliess.
