South Pacific Resort & Spa Noosa

Pros: Great location, 5 minute drive to Hastings street, walking distance to farmers market. Also located next to the river. Easy to check in after hours. Instructions to get to the unit and general instructions for the stay were clear. The Thai restaurant is amazing, food was perfect and great tasting cocktails. Pool and garden area is pretty. Reception staff were helpful. Room was clean, tidy and nicely styled. The Bed was very comfortable. Cons: lack of tea towels, 1 towel for the duration of the stay, fees for extra towels. Enough toiletries for 1 person only. People smoking on balconies- haven’t witnessed this in a long time. Balconies are very close together. The smoke goes into your apartment. It should be banned with a smoking area provided. Unit walls are paper thin, in our experience it was a very noisy stay with lots of kids yelling and disrupting the peace between 9pm-11pm. Not the hotels fault but I think it’s worth noting for future visitors. Every footstep can be heard from upper levels. No access to staff on site from 4pm-ish onwards. Without the noise and smoke it would be a 5 star review. I’d visit just for the Thai food it was that good.
