Nice room. 14B on the first floor. But the air conditioner whines and screams keeping me awake. Now I live in Perth but have come to the Gold Coast many times as I think the people here are the nicest in Australia. So this is a first for me I would have said something. But the young lady at reception. And if management wants to follow this up I stayed on the 2/3 of Jan 2026. In fact I’m still here for another night. But I’ll bet they won’t follow this up. Now, I chose not to say anything as this young lady on 2 encounters once at check in and once in the morning when I went and purchased some stuff the rooms didn’t have really did not want to be there. I get like I was asking for a favour to get her attention. She was. Miserable. And what got me is that the room above me on the morning of the 3rd had something going on that involved some sort of domestic fight. There was screaming and loud and clear conversation can be heard. And a few loud bangs with vibrations that woke me up several times. When I brought this to the attention of this young lady. And said I hope the people are ok, she said without looking at me that it was probably construction. With that I just thanked her and left. I didn’t think she would be interested if I talked about the air conditioner. It will keep me up tonight. Another minor detail is that when we asked for new towels. We were told that this is a no service note unless we stay 8 nights or more. That left me puzzled, but I didn’t want to. Other then any further as they obviously had more important things to do So yeah…. Stay somewhere else. It’s a shame. As it is a truly lovely place in a lovely location. Too bad about the service.

Amazing location so central a 2 minute walk to the main strip and trams. Peaceful views and a great pool facility. We had no issues with staff and found them very helpful when needed. However the room its self was very disappointing. It was dirty with black mould above the shower and shower door handle fell off and the sink faucet was hanging on for dear life. The deck was disgusting to the point that we didn’t want to sit and relax on it. The carpet in the room also felt very damp to the point we just wore our shoes the whole time. Would recommend for the location however not if you are wanting a clean relaxing place to stay. With some extra work and effort this could be an amazing place to stay.
