We booked the clamping tents. . Lovely drive up to Lamington. Besides a O'Reillys branded car was sitting up our cars bumpa, as soon as there was a pull off we did, yet no need for the aggressive driver prior. . Check into the clamping tents was easy. . Camp kitchen Lovely large area, well stocked with cooking equipment and washing up spong detergent etc. The tablesvand chairs need a goodvscrub, lots of grim build up. The shade cloth near ceiling was filthy, also needs a good clean (nothing a good High Pressure hose could not fix) Great out door bench seats to watch sunset. Noise travels so it was hard yo get to sleep whilst people enjoying themselves after 10pm. Toilets/ Showers. Shower heads great water pressure. Great hot water Flushing toilets. Good size. The room need a good clean over the three days we watched them being cleaned i kid you not the cleaners spent less than 3 minutes in each cubicle. The mould and grim build up is not hygienic. Glad I bought rubber shoes to shower with. The doors slam shut so every time during the night they are used all campers hear them open and close. . Tents Nice size. Great location tent 2 in corner looking into rainforest. Our tent was very dirty, needed a good sweep under the bed and floors had a fine layer of rocks, most likely from the path. The doubled bed in the bunks mattress had a sticky substance on it. The tents are great however if you are a light sleeper maybe not for you, you can hear people talking three and four tent away at night.. Lamington NP Super 100% fantastic. We are birders so managed to tick a few birds of my lists. . All in all I would be back yet ill stay in the hotel or villas. .
