NRMA Cairns Holiday Park

Pros: - Very convenient location, within a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre and close to the airport. A great base for activities. - Staff were friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Cons: - The men’s amenities were in extremely poor condition. Toilets and walls were heavily soiled, and there was pubic hair in the showers for several days. Overall cleanliness was far below the standard of other NRMA sites we’ve stayed at. - Washing machines only operate with cold water. - RV parking spaces are not properly levelled, which made setup difficult

We spent 3 nights here in an ensuite cabin and had an ok experience overall. While cleanliness was an issue (we found our toilet bowl sprayed with dry urine) staff was very helpful. The premises are a bit run down, rust and stains on the washing machines and many barbecue grills out of order. The location itself is OK, there is a bus going to the city center every hour at least. Overall it was an ok stay but definitely not the best on our north QLD trip.
