I stayed here with my partner over New Year’s Eve and was very disappointed with the condition of the bathrooms and showers. While the staff were kind and attentive and the location was excellent, unfortunately those were the only real positives of our stay. The showers were visibly dirty, with a strong unpleasant smell, and I felt compelled to shower as quickly as possible. The bed in our room was also extremely uncomfortable and hard, and the bedding felt rough and scratchy. At one point, the overall discomfort and lack of cleanliness caused me to have a panic attack, and my partner had to help calm me down. I acknowledge that I may be more sensitive to cleanliness than some, and I understand that a hostel is not comparable to a hotel. However, this was genuinely my experience, and I believe these are areas management should address in order to improve guest comfort and overall experience.

Incredible stay at this hostel. I would recommend and go back. Came here with four friends for a weekend away. We went whale watching. This hostel gave us a private room to share. It was clean, gave towels, had a kitchen and communal area. No curtains included on the bed though. Friendly receptionist. Highly social. Incredibly affordable and good location.
