Used Franks while visiting Noosa recently. It’s not a bad space with plenty of equipment, though much of this is a bit careworn and tired. Handles/ curl bars used for the cable machines are worn with bearings gone making for jerky movements / screeching, and cables easily coming off pulleys etc. 24$ for a single visit isn’t the cheapest but you pay for convenience, and prices are advertised at the reception desk, so that’s fine. Main comment is that it really needs a good clean. All the touch points are filthy, and when you look a little closer there’s a layer of grime over most surfaces, whether it’s the floor, weights benches, cable machines or amenities. I noticed the same discarded disposable water bottle in the same spot for three days running- presume no cleaner had been in those three days or it would have been removed. The above said- I did attend three times in a week and got in a decent workout, though there’s definitely a need for a deep clean. Edit- following response from owner: I don’t think commenting on amenities provided, price and cleanliness constitutes a strange review…?
