Discovery Parks - Byron Bay

Don’t stay here if you’re camping and rely on the amenities. Maybe fine for cabins as they looked alright. Camp somewhere else. Amenities are disgusting and cleaned ONCE A DAY from my observations (only 9:30pm). It feels more like a hostel with the level of courtesy amongst people using the kitchens and bathrooms. I’ve stayed in a lot of caravan parks but this one is the worst! It’s so big and clearly they make more money from their cabins and do not prioritise any cleaning or maintenance for the campsite amenities. Front desk called me two days after I arrived to ask me if I would be coming. You can tell they don’t care if you look at the reviews and see they only respond to the good ones. Never staying in this hole again!

Lovely park. Amenities clean & modern. We were thankful to get a dog friendly spot for 1 night but after looking around I think we got the worst site in the park (20). Anyway quiet pleasant stay. Good spot coming into town. |Per …
