Wat an awsum park it is huge, it keeps going n going. It is a water themed park n it looks like it would be so much fun, there is a "creek" with turtles n fish in it, then a school of fish swimming along, there is a treasure chest, an anchor ⚓️, a half sunken ships steering wheel, there was only one sprinkler working unfortunately. Up the top there are baby swings n toddler swings, n bigger kids swings all set in a "circle" so u can watch each other swing, a couple of 🛝 n also a fully covered bright coloured slide. There is also a big blue octopus you can walk into with plaques from different schools in the area. The toilet facilities are a decent size and also have a disabled stall. There is a big sandpit area with a shipwreck and a giant yellow fish n a bench n sinks for water play. Then there is a big giant red 🦀, a lilac octopus 🐙 a yellow submarine which has tape around it so not meant to be used, this area is for water play n the ground is made to be like rolling waves, but unfortunately there were rocks thrown around n was very messy n unsafe looking n the water wasn't working. Then there is the climbing frame playground which has something for everybody n seems to all interconnect plus a couple more swings. There is so much seating n footpaths for scootering or biking or skating. The ground is uneven, as in going up n down hills n flat ground different types of pathways. The gardens are well developed but need some TLC. There is plenty of parking plenty of tables n chairs n covered area, there is a track leading down to the Brisbane River which has a flat beach like edging. This place has so much imagination put into it I hope it gets fixed up n used properly again . Oh and a flying fox n heaps n heaps of shade from some beautiful old trees. Plenty of parking
