Look at Motel Before booking in as nothing like the pictures .. NO POOL Major Renovations happening outside in car park and painting Rooms smell and carpets thread bearing and stained. Hot water takes 5 minutes to get hot. Manager sitting around drinking in garage with tradies mid afternoon Definitely need to update there web page re room photos as they look 20 years old Checked in on Wednesday afternoon and was informed there would be a cement truck coming at 1 pm on Thursday . 7 am Thursday morning was rudely awaked to workers using a small excavator to remove pavers which was not informed of and as i had spent 7 hrs in hospital on Wednesday having medical treatment was hoping to be able to sleep and rest. Then since was awake went and out only to return after 1pm to rest and found driveway blocked by cement truck and concrete pumping truck forcing us to park on the side of busy road instead of under unit in covered safe area. Upon return we approached lady in office about a refund as it was conducive to a healthy rest environment after hospital stay. Once manager finally returned 2 hours latter he informed us he was only a manager and owner said if we were unsatisfied should have checked out in the morning and we would not get a refund for Thursday as it was afternoon and too late in the day . As we left spoke to a worker on site a said it was a joke and he politely said he told owner to close during renovations as it would be very disruptive to guests but money hungry owner kept renting rooms with zero regards for guest safety or pleasure of stay

We stayed from Friday to Sunday and we had no hot water for 2 days. The owner / manager was contacted to get the matter resolved only to be told nothing was going to be done. When I questioned why he was not organising an emergency plumber …
