City Golf Club Motel

Check-in was easy, and they don’t charge your card until you arrive in person, which was good. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. When we first walked in, there were more than 40 moths and several mosquitos flying around. I called reception, and to their credit, staff quickly brought up fly spray. The room had a single and a double bed, but when the top sheet separated, the blanket underneath had multiple yellow stains about the size of a hand, which was pretty unpleasant. The towels were also very small, and the toilet didn’t appear to have been cleaned properly, there was what looked like dried urine around the back of the seat. On the positive side, the motel is within easy walking distance to the golf course, and the club can order you an Uber back if needed. There’s no allocated parking, but you can park anywhere you find a spot. Checkout was quick and easy, I just dropped the key cards off at reception. Overall, while the location is convenient, the cleanliness and room condition need serious attention before I’d consider staying again.

Very nice motel but unfortunately there are not enough carparks for number of rooms. A problem for those planning on leaving items in the car or arriving back late. Certainly an issue for elderly with mobility issues. Another issue we phoned to request a ground floor room due to health issues. Yes we were given a ground floor room but with the shower over the bath.....a safety issue and we would be unable to use. If we can't get up stairs surely we can't climb into a bath to have a shower. OK for 1 night but not 5 Hopefully staff could be advised to let customers know of these issue and in advertising for safety and open disclosure. The room is lovely but doorstop falling off back of bathroom door and bathroom not cleaned fully. Room and Lamps dusty. We must thank Brianna for her excellent customer service....nothing was to much trouble.
