Brisbane North Rental Village

We stayed here for one night because we couldn’t check in to pine rivers Showgrounds on Sunday. The site (191) was too small for our caravan, had two sewerage holes that emitted bad smells, and the site is not level. The neighbour here was very tolerant. I felt bad as we parked way too close because we had to! The amenities were disgusting: old and wrecked. We walked around one evening and we both felt very sorry for people living here. Very happy to leave very early the next day and forfeit our second night. Please improve this place for the permanent residents and if you have a caravan do not stay here!! Go to Pine Rivers Showgrounds - much much better or go further away from North Brisbane.

AVOID THIS PARK AT ALL COSTS. This is by far the worst park we have stayed in during our 6 months of travelling - starting with the very rude staff at reception on arrival. The site we were allocated was right beside the amenities and in amongst permanent residents whose sites were dirty and the residents “sketchy” to say the least. We felt like we were under surveillance by the permanent residents. There was yelling & swearing & arguments at all hours of the day & night, people smoking in the laundry & amenities block - cigarette butts on the floors. - management don’t appear to care. The amenities were dirty, air driers “out of order” but no paper dispenser to dry hands with. There are tiles missing of the floors & walls of the showers, the cubicles are filthy and the laundry appliances are also filthy. As it was school holidays we were unable to find alternate accommodation- otherwise we would have driven straight back out.
