It's a perfectly fine park to stay at. Granted the amenities are old but they were always clean, more so than most places we have encountered in our year on the road. The place has a lot of permanents but they were always friendly and nice so not sure what others got all twisted up about. Site we were given was large and spacious and considering you are less than 30mins to downtown Brisbane this is a good place to pull up to explore Brisbane. Supermarket, gym etc are a short walk away as is public transport.

Not the horror some other reviews would suggest. We stayed in the back 'tourist' section, amenities were clean, staff were friendly, location was great. Probably not the spot for your two-week family holiday but for a few nights close to central Brisbane this was great!
