Not the best place to stay esp if you want to sleep well .....cars in and out all night n sadly not travellers maybe classed as semi - permanents? Not sure but anyway it was close to tsvn to do stuff n we left our van there both days n it was fine. Park was absolutely beautiful lovely lush green grass.:) we didnt use amenities but did use dump point n odd to associate with a dump point but tbh it was spotless!! 👏👏👏 well done Townsville Council n wish more councils would follow what you offer cheers 🍻

A good free camping area. Large open patches of well maintained grass and tree coverage over camping spaces. Clean facilities. Lots of benches. However, there were some kids harassing myself and my dog when we stopped there to have lunch (guess it comes with free access?). And was pretty dusty.
