I didnt expect alot being a backpackers (ive never stayed at one) but it was really good. I had a room with its own bathroom, it was clean, tidy, neat! Kitchen and common areas were clean and tidy, Staff were so friendly and welcoming. And it was relatively quiet. Will definitely come back and stay again. P.S the shower is amazeballs!!!!

A Hidden Gem: World-Class Service and the Best Shower on Earth! I recently booked a one-night "sleep over" at Abode Mooloolaba and, to be honest, I wasn't expecting much. With the place described as a "backpackers" style accommodation, I was bracing myself for a simple, in-and-out experience. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment I stepped inside, the level of service completely blew me away. The reception experience immediately set the tone. One of the young women greeted me with a genuine, welcoming smile. I had completely mucked up my ID, but the young lady handled the issue with incredible patience and professionalism, helping me through the process smoothly and efficiently. She got me checked in and even demonstrated their slick, modern key system—a new door key opening right on your phone via email (that’s fantastic technology!). Getting to the room late that evening, the positive surprises continued. I have stayed in countless 5-star hotels around the world, but the shower at Abode Mooloolaba was, without exaggeration, the best flowing shower I have ever used. It was absolutely amazing! The bed was equally comfortable, ensuring I had a deep and restful night's sleep. We were up and gone early, around 7 AM, and were greeted by another friendly staff member who ended our stay just as warmly as it began, wishing us an amazing day. Abode Mooloolaba truly defies expectations. If you are looking for exceptional service, modern convenience, and the kind of comforts you'd expect from a luxury stay (like a phenomenal shower!), look no further. Highly, highly recommend!
