We stopped for 1 night only on our way to Darwin. The amenities are great and really clean. The park is well maintained and was picturesque. The staff are super friendly and when not too busy, were up for a quick chat.

We are self contained travellers but because of the heat and humidity at the moment we picked a powered site down the back with lots of big shade trees. Great time to travel as the crowds are gone and there are deals on accommodation, we basically had a hand full of travellers scattered throughout the huge park and we even had the pool to our selves a couple of times. Staff were really friendly and the amenities were very clean. Also lots of birds about and close to the river which is a nice place to cool down.
